This Week: Your Calendar Basically Builds Itself Now 🗓️
Another week, another stack of updates that quietly make your day easier. Grab your coffee ☕ — here's everything new in Cycl Sales this week.
🗓️ Your Calendar Basically Sets Itself Up Now
Setting up a new calendar used to mean digging through a dozen options before you even knew what you needed. Not anymore. Calendar AI lets you just describe what you're trying to book — sales calls, consultations, whatever — and it recommends and builds the calendar for you.
Along the way you can add your team, set your availability, pick a meeting location, preview the booking page live, and even book a test appointment before you go live. It's basically having a very patient assistant who never gets tired of your calendar questions.
📊 Your Custom Fields Can Finally Do Math
If you've ever tracked something like deal size, property value, or treatment cost in a custom field, you know the pain of exporting everything to a spreadsheet just to add it up. That's over. Numeric and dollar-value custom fields can now be used as real metrics — with Sum, Min, Max, and Average — right inside your dashboards and custom reports.
The best part? Any new custom field you create shows up automatically in the metric picker. Zero setup, zero spreadsheets, zero excuses.
🏅 Badges Can Now Kick Off Their Own Workflows
Badges aren't just a nice pat on the back anymore — they can start things happening. There's a new Issue Badge action that awards a badge automatically when your workflow conditions are met, plus a Badge Issued trigger that fires off a follow-up the moment someone earns one. Send a congrats email, update a contact, launch another automation — you name it.
🤖 Your AI Agent Just Got More Brains to Choose From
The AI Agent Action now lets you pick between models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, all from one redesigned picker. Every model shows what it's good at, whether it supports deeper reasoning, and you can dial the reasoning effort up or down depending on whether you need a quick answer or a really thorough one.
Translation: your simple lookups can run on something fast and light, while your trickier multi-step tasks get the heavy-duty thinker — without you having to overthink which is which.

💳 No More Awkward $0 Charges on Free Bookings
Here's a small fix with a big "finally" attached. Before, if a booking became free — say, someone applied a 100% off coupon — customers could still get asked for their card and run through a weird $0 charge. Now that's split into two clean options: a dedicated Collect Card on File setting for when you want a card saved without charging anything, and smarter logic that skips payment collection entirely when the total is genuinely $0.
⚡ Quick Hits
- Fresh templates dropped: new website, funnel, email, social, and ad templates across automotive, health & wellness, real estate, and more. Browse what's new →
- Email Events now carry a Message ID: so if you're piping opens and clicks into a webhook, you can finally tell which email each event came from — no more guessing. Read more →
- Dropdown fields fixed: Create/Update Record dropdowns now properly support dynamic merge tag values again, with a Standard/Dynamic toggle just like Update Contact Field. Details here →
- Heads up for Ad Manager users: Meta retired the Instagram Explore Feed placement, so it's no longer selectable when building new campaigns. Existing campaigns keep running fine — nothing for you to do. More info →
