Your Clients Can Now Book Their Own Appointments (Plus 9 More Updates)

August 17, 2026

It's been a busy week over at Cycl Sales HQ. The dev team clearly had a lot of coffee, because they shipped ten different updates in the last seven days. That's basically one a day, which is more consistent than most people's gym habits. 🏋️

Here's everything new, explained without the jargon.

Your Clients Can Now Book Their Own Appointments

The Client Portal just got a lot more useful. Your clients can now see their appointments, book new ones, and reschedule or cancel — all without sending you a single "hey can we move our call" text.

They get a Today/Upcoming/Past view plus a full calendar, and if you've got more than one calendar turned on, they can pick which one to book with. You stay in control of exactly which calendars are available for booking.

Instant Alerts When an Invoice or Estimate Goes Out

Nobody likes chasing down a client for a payment, and honestly, nobody likes being chased either. Now when you send an invoice or an estimate, your client gets a notification right inside their Client Portal so they can act on it fast.

No setup required on your end — it just works, and it means faster approvals and fewer "wait, I never got that?" conversations.

Smarter Join Requests for Your Communities

If you run a community with group access requests, you can now build a workflow that reviews those requests automatically. You can filter by the answers people gave to your membership questions, and even use AI to flag spammy or low-quality answers before a human ever sees them.

It's like having a bouncer for your community, except this one never falls asleep on the job.

A Fresh Batch of Templates Landed

New week, new templates. This drop includes a Home Services website, a Marketing Agency funnel, eight social templates spanning real estate, travel, and restaurants, plus a stack of new Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn ad templates for niches like auto paint shops, bed and breakfasts, and accounting services.

If you've been staring at a blank page trying to figure out what to build next, this is your sign to go browse the template library.

WhatsApp Now Shows Up in the AI Assistant

The AI Assistant inside Workflows already told you how your emails and texts were performing. Now it does the same for WhatsApp. Just ask it something like "how did my WhatsApp messages do over the last two weeks" and it'll hand you delivery rates, read rates, and how that compares to the period before.

Basically, it's like having an analyst on call who never asks for a raise.

Google Merchant Center Just Got a Lot Easier

Running an Ecommerce Store? You can now connect it straight to Google Merchant Center and get your eligible products showing up on Google Shopping and other Google surfaces, without wrestling with spreadsheets or manual feeds.

Your product info, pricing, inventory, images, and variants keep syncing automatically after you set it up once. Set it, forget it, and let Google do the showing off.

Expired Login Links Aren't Dead Ends Anymore

We've all clicked a link that expired two seconds too late. When that happens with a Client Portal magic link now, your client gets automatically redirected to a one-time code screen instead of hitting an error page. A code gets emailed to them (with their address masked for privacy), and they're back in within seconds.

Less friction for them means fewer "I can't log in" messages for you.

Course Creators Get Announcements 📢

If you run courses, you can now post announcements straight to your learners without relying on email alone. Add formatted text, images, and links, target specific courses or all of them, and optionally send an email copy too.

Learners see a banner and an unread indicator so nothing important slips by. Great for launches, updates, or just a friendly reminder that the homework is due.

Contact Details Without Losing Your Spot

Clicking a contact's name from Opportunities or Appointments used to yank you away to a whole new page. Now it opens right there in an overlay, so you can peek at contact details and conversations without losing where you were.

You can pick a single-column view, an expanded two-column view, or still jump to the full contact page if that's more your style.

Bringing Your Old CRM Data Over Is Now Way Easier

Switching CRMs used to mean exporting a pile of CSVs and hoping nothing got lost in translation. Now you can connect your old HubSpot account and pull contacts, deals, companies, custom fields, pipelines, notes, emails, and tasks straight in, with the relationships between them preserved.

The import runs in the background, so you can close the tab and go grab a snack while it works. When it's done, you get a full report of what came over cleanly and what needs a second look.

That's a Wrap

Ten updates in one week is a lot to take in, so bookmark this one if you need to come back to it. As always, hop into your account and poke around — half the fun of these updates is finding them yourself. See you next week! 👋
